I have been in Residential Real Estate for over 10 years and have received a Bachelors of Science in Business Management from Pepperdine University, in Malibu, California and a Masters in Business Administration from Chapman University, in Orange, California.

I have received my SFR (Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource) Certification, allowing me to assist clients with their distressed property needs…everything from pre-foreclosures, short sales, to bank owned properties.

I have also completed my SRES (Seniors Real Estate Specialist) designation, allowing me to successfully guide Senior clients through real estate transactions.

With over 35 years in customer service, business management & human resource experience, Cheryl brings to the team, Transaction Coordination that is unique and truly relationship, communicative and client rich. Her attention to details, ability to think quickly and responsibly, desire to get the “job done” professionally and correctly, combined with her drive and overall work ethic and most importantly, her overall passion in serving the client rightfully, not just easily or simply, shows in all aspects of the transaction process.

Cheryl joins with Cindy and the team in strategically coordinating the various details and processes that go along with the opening of escrow, including and combining all the various parties involved (escrow, lenders, Cooperating Agents/teams, etc.) through to the very minute of recording. Her pride in the smooth sailing progress of a transaction is not only a benefit to you, the client, but to her own personal gratification in knowing that another Buyer or Seller is completely satisfied with our services and dedication to you to make the home buying and/or selling process as smooth, seamless and enjoyable as possible.

Residing in Simi Valley, Cheryl has a grown son and daughter, with growing families of their own now. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and friends of her kids. Biking, walks on the beach, reading and cooking are also some of the passions she tries to routinely indulge in.

Jeff began his career in the real estate industry in 1992, gaining wide-ranging expertise in the title insurance and escrow sides of the business. He has personally closed over 1,000 resale escrows, including quite complex transactions; all with a positive, friendly attitude, while keeping clients informed every step of the way.

Since 1995, Jeff has lived in Newbury Park with his wife and three children. When not helping clients with their escrow needs, he enjoys mountain biking, camping and spending time with family and friends

Scott has been a Direct Mortgage Lender for the past 28 years. He works throughout Ventura and Los Angeles County and the great state of California. “My goal is to provide fair and equal lending to all.”

One of Scott’s many great qualities is that he is a man of his word. If he says he can close by a certain date, he does, OR sometimes he closes early, which helps the transaction process immensely.

As a professional courtesy to The Sorey Team’s sellers, Scott also reviews all potential buyers financial information to ensure we are going into contract with a solid buyer or buyers, and that any possible issues are addressed up front, so we can rest assured our transaction will close and close on time.

In his spare time, Scott enjoys traveling, fine dining, and spending time with family and friends.
